My name is Uxío Fraga. I live in Dubai, I run this shop myself, and I started it after trying to buy a robot for my own home and discovering that almost nobody selling them here would give me a straight answer about what they actually do.
The pattern was always the same. A video of a humanoid doing something astonishing, a price with a lot of zeros, and an assistant who could not tell me whether the machine would climb the step to my terrace. So I did the research myself, properly, reading manufacturer datasheets instead of press releases. What I found was interesting enough to build a business on: the robots that impress you do not work yet, and the robots that work do not impress you.
This shop sells the second kind, honestly, and reports on the first kind so you do not waste your money.
How it works
- What I sell
- Pool robots, cleaning robots and service robots for venues. Machines that do a real job unsupervised, every day.
- Where they come from
- Stock already in the UAE. Nothing is shipped from China to your door, so there are no customs surprises and no six week waits.
- Delivery
- Days, not weeks. Delivered, installed, and left working.
- Warranty
- Local, because the unit is already nationalised here. A failure is a phone call, not a freight claim.
- Payment
- Confirmed price and delivery date before anything is charged. Nothing is taken up front on a maybe.
- What I will not do
- Sell you a machine for a job it cannot do. If a robot is wrong for your situation, you get told before you pay.
Why the honesty is not a marketing angle
It is the business model. A robot is an expensive object that arrives with expectations attached, and the fastest way to destroy a young shop is a customer who unboxes a machine that does not do what they thought. Dubai is a small city underneath the skyline. That story travels faster than any advertising I could buy.
So on the humanoid page you will find me explaining that the most famous robot in the world has no hands on its base model, and on the pool page you will find me telling you that if all you want is the lowest possible price, some of these are on Amazon and you should buy them there. That costs me sales. It buys something worth more.
If a robot will not do the job you have in mind, you get told before you pay, not after you unbox it.
Where the numbers come from
Every specification on this site is taken from the manufacturer's own product page or datasheet, and every article lists its sources at the bottom so you can check them yourself. Where a figure could not be verified, the page says so rather than estimating. Where a price is local and indicative, it is labelled as indicative and confirmed before you order.
Product photographs come from the manufacturers. Embedded videos are from official manufacturer channels, checked one by one before publishing. Location photography is licensed stock.
Who I am
I spent fifteen years building and running online businesses before moving to Dubai. I am not a roboticist, and I do not pretend to be one. What I am good at is reading the documentation carefully, asking the awkward question, and telling the customer the answer.
If you want to know whether a robot solves your problem, tell me what the problem is. The pool, the floors, the restaurant, the elderly parent, the guests at an event. I will tell you which machine does it, what it costs here, and when the honest answer is that you should keep your money.
